WINE TASTING GALA AND AUCTION
9th Annual “Toasting & Tasting” Event Held at
St. Stephen’s on Saturday, November 7
The St. Stephen’s Annual “Toasting & Tasting” event was held Saturday, November 7, 2009. This is a popular, lively event which is an evening of music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine sampling from 13 Spokane area vintners, and a fabulous array of auction items presented in both a Silent and a Live Auction format. Tickets were only $30 — one of the best prices for a wine tasting event in all of Spokane! Just look at some of the photos from this year’s evening and that of the year before, and you can just feel the fun shared by 200 members and guests — our largest crowd ever!! Proceeds help support a variety of our community outreach activities, including the elderly and youth in our area. We hope you’ll join us in November 2010!

v Hand turned one of a kind wooden bowl, made with several kinds of wood, and made into a unique design.
v Come to Canada — a 2 night stay at Christina Lake, B.C. and enjoy golf, horseback riding, sight-seeing and gourmet food prepared by your hosts.
v Restaurant tree — gift certificates for several local restaurants.
v Golf at Priest Lake and a gift certificate to Hills Resort.
v Basket with a breathtaking handmade, designed & painted ceramic piece from a talented ceramic artist.
v Golfing equipment — a Driver and a Putter
Once again, this is just a sampling of the items on auction. In addition, those attending could buy wine at a discount, all the while helping raise money for outreach to our community.
