Serving and giving are at the heart of the Christian life. As we grow in generosity toward those in need, so too the love of Christ grows in us. The love of Christ is revealed through us as we offer our talents, our time, and our treasure to be used for God’s healing work in the world. Pages found here:
FALL — EVERY MEMBER CANVAS
It’s autumn, which means the St. Stephen’s Every Member Canvas is in full swing. The pledges are used to determine the budget for the following year. Hundreds of letters are sent out to members in early October. At the end of October members have the opportunity to bring their pledge cards to the altar during services as a dedication to God and St. Stephen’s.
In addition, we celebrate the ingathering of pledges at the annual Harvest Dinner, held in the Parish Hall following Sunday service. The main dish, ham, is supplied by St. Stephen’s and members are asked to bring potluck items to share.
