YOUTH/CHILDREN
SUNDAY SCHOOL
St. Stephen’s Sunday School meets from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM every Sunday in the downstairs Youth Room. Our Sunday school provides children ages 4 to 9 the opportunity to learn about God in a way that is both fun and easy for them to understand. We begin with group prayer. The children then explore the lesson for the day by listening to the Word. This is followed by a craft project or game focused on that day’s lesson. The children have a snack and some fellowship time before heading up to the Sanctuary to join the rest of the congregation for the exchange of the Peace and to participate in Holy Communion.
Parents are always welcome to join us for Sunday school. We also invite older youth to help out in the classroom.
YOUTH GROUP
St. Stephen’s has two youth groups: our senior high group is for 8th-12th grade youth and our junior high group is for 6th & 7th grade youth. Both groups use the Journey to Adulthood program. We recognize our youth as the leaders that God has chosen for our future and we celebrate God’s gift of manhood and womanhood. Both groups normally meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at St. Stephen’s. Occasionally, the time and/or place will change for special events. Questions?
