PLAN GIVING

PLEDGING AND PLANNED GIVING

Pledging and Christian Giving
The Episcopal Church maintains that the biblical tithe (ten percent) is the standard for Christian giving. Weekly pledges are the norm, and envelopes are provided for every family and single person of the parish. Although the annual canvass takes place in the fall of each year, persons new to the parish are invited to make a definite pledge upon joining the congregation as regular worshipers. In addition to a regular monetary pledge which is crucial to the operation and program of the parish, members can also help by defraying occasional but necessary additional expenses.

Planned Giving – OUR ENDOWMENT FUND
Parishioners are also encouraged to consider the church when preparing their will/estate planning. Many of our current ministries at St. Stephen’s are funded through our ENDOWMENT FUND (a separate non-profit organization with its own Board), funded by the loving gifts of former generations and many current members of St. Stephen’s.
