WELCOME

G E T T I N G      I N V O L V E D

It’s a great joy to be a member of a vibrant, warm, welcoming and caring community.  St. Stephen’s is a church home where we indeed do—

GATHER in worship,

GROW in faith, and

SERVE as stewards of God’s creation

Each of us has God-given talents, and our members take pleasure in using them them in the many worthwhile and satisfying things we do here, in the greater community and world.

There are several ways you can be “involved”:

— Just come and worship with us at the Saturday 5 PM smaller, more intimate service or at the Sunday 8AM service or 10:15 AM Choral Eucharist– with music and kids of all ages.  No strings attached!!

— Let us know you want to be on our mailing list for monthly newsletters or emails with our weekly bulletin announcements.  Call 448-2255 or email office@ststephens-spokane;

— Join us at one of our outreach activities or special events that you read about in the weekly emails or see on our reader board.    You don’t have to be a “member”,  and you may find a friend or two!

— At some point you may want to formally become a member (or transfer from your former Episcopal church, if that applies).  It’s that simple!!

— If you have not been baptized, or if you want to be confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church, we would be happy to walk you through those steps as well.

As you can see from exploring our website, there are many areas where members and prospective members can be involved, including adult and youth education, service and fellowship.

We hope you’ll personally visit us and check us out.  If you’re interested in learning more, please speak to one of the Clergy or any of our members. They’ll be happy to answer your questions or put you in touch with those who can.

Thanks for visiting us “on line”!

“Peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:2

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church is an active, warm, and friendly community where God is working through people just like you. People of all ages come to find a connection with God through Jesus Christ. People come and are nurtured through relationships they find with other caring people. As we deepen our own faith and serve others in need, we recognize the healing and transforming power of God at work in us and in the world.

I invite you to a place where God is working in people through worship, caring, learning, and service. As you explore St. Stephen’s through our website, perhaps you will find ways you would like to connect with God and with others. We welcome your questions in person, if you don’t find what you are looking for on this site. Most of all, come and see! We welcome you most warmly.

The Rev. Bill Osborne
